ICCU failure and sudden power loss (Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, EV6)
The Integrated Charging Control Unit charges both the 12V battery and the high-voltage pack. When it fails, the 12V battery drains, you lose power or the car won't charge. It has been the subject of recalls, so we check your VIN first and send recall work to the dealer.

A dead 12V battery on an E-GMP car is often a symptom, not the cause. We test the battery, the charging unit and the parasitic draw.
Kona Electric battery history

My Ioniq 5 lost power and the 12V died. What happened?
That pattern often points to the ICCU. Check your VIN for open recalls first. If it has been done, or the issue is something else, we diagnose the charging unit, 12V battery and wiring.
Do you work on the Kia EV6 and EV9?
Yes. Maintenance, brakes, tires, 12V systems, charging faults and high-voltage battery diagnostics.
Can you replace a Niro hybrid battery?
