Not every tired hybrid needs a new battery. A hybrid pack is a string of modules, and often only one or two fail first. If the rest test healthy, a module repair or reconditioning is the cheaper fix and can buy you years.
If the pack is old and several modules are weak, replacement is the better value, because the warranty then covers the whole battery instead of just the parts we touched. We test every module and show you the numbers before you spend a dollar.

Do you use new or used battery modules?
New modules. We build every pack in-house with new NiMH modules and a new wiring harness, from the same module manufacturer we have used for the past 8 years. We do not sell used packs pulled from salvage cars. When reconditioning makes more sense than replacement, we will tell you, but every replacement battery we sell is built with new modules and a written warranty.
Do you replace Lexus RX 450h batteries?
No. We do not build packs for the Lexus RX 450h. We can still diagnose and repair the rest of its hybrid system.
How long does a hybrid battery replacement take?
Most hybrid battery replacements are done the same day. Call ahead with your year and model so we have the right modules on the shelf when you arrive.
Should I replace or recondition my hybrid battery?
If only one or two modules are weak and the rest of the pack tests healthy, a repair or reconditioning can buy you time for less money. What are the signs my hybrid battery is failing?
The red triangle warning, a P0A80 or P0A7F code, the gas engine running more than usual, fuel economy dropping by several MPG, the battery gauge swinging from full to empty quickly, or the battery cooling fan running loudly. Come in for a code scan and pack test and we will tell you where the pack stands.
