Maintenance questions
Do hybrids and EVs need maintenance?
Yes, just less of it. Hybrids still need oil, inverter coolant and battery cooling fan cleaning. EVs need tire rotations, brake fluid, cabin filters, A/C service and battery coolant on most models. Skipping it is how small problems become battery and inverter repairs.
Will servicing my car with you void the factory warranty?
No. You can have routine maintenance done at an independent shop without voiding your warranty. Keep your receipts, and we keep records too.
How often should I clean my hybrid battery cooling fan?
Check it every year or two, and more often if you carry pets or drive on dusty roads. A clogged fan lets the battery overheat, which is one of the most common causes of early hybrid battery failure.
How often should EV tires be rotated?
Most EV makers recommend every 6,000 to 8,000 miles. EVs are heavy and torquey, so regular rotations and alignment checks make tires last noticeably longer.
